Have you ever visited a tropical island and been left wondering somewhat whether there isn't more to the island than sand and sea? Well if you have, you should come to Jamaica because when it comes to diversity our little Jamrock doesn't disappoint. We have all the tropical scenery and more that you could hope to see.
Our soaring mountains of variegated green, our winding streams, our broad rivers and bright wooden houses nestled at the foot of hills are so breatakingly gorgeous they fashion the ideal tropical wallpaper.
Here's a peek.

Whenever I travel I make a point to seek out the inhabitants to see how they live and work. So I have sought to give you some of that reality here with the tropical scenery as a backdrop. You can see the fisherman at work with his shrimp baskets on the river; also check out the colourful clothes drying on the line in the wind in true Jamaican style.
You didn't miss the three donkeys did you? Also our water falls extend beyond Dunns River Falls to include some deep into the interior. Powerful rocks pose for us as the waters stream actoss in a constant flow.
Speaking of streams, as day dawns we happen upon this peaceful misty setting and then as we head into the valley we are greated by the gentle sounds and spectacular sights of more water.
